The purpose of a CV is to get you in the door for an interview. Employers decide who to interview based on the CVs they receive for each job. The better your CV is, the more likely it is that you’ll get to interview for the job. This article will teach us how to write a good cv

Properties Of A Good Cv

1.Header:

your contact details( Name, phone numbers, email, link to portfolios)

2.Professional Summary: Brief of who you are, what you have been doing, what you can do.

3.Skills and competencies: All your soft and technical skills in bullet points.

4.Accomplishments (if any) Major relevant career accomplishments.

5.Work experience: All your relevant work experiences starting from the most recent. Here you also list out all your key contributions in the firm, use numbers where possible. Showcase value and achievement not just listing out generic job descriptions. If it’s a cure tent job, what you do must be captured in the present tense but if it’s a past job it must be in the past tense. Use action verbs.

Example:
