Job Summary of the Process Project Engineer |Tetra Pak

  • We’re searching for a Project Engineer – Process who will be in charge of driving equipment line activities to meet cost, quality, functionality, and time objectives.
  • The job’s owners are Project Managers and Line Engineers who work together to produce technical solutions to Process Design (PD), Technical Design (TD), and Product Life Cycle (PLC) projects / activities within a set budget and timeline.

Principal Responsibilities
As a Process Project Engineer, you will:

  • Take on the position of a key team member in the development of capital equipment for projects of medium complexity (both PD and TD).
  • Lead medium complexity and cross-competence PLC projects, corrections, and pre-study activities, including medium complexity product extensions, with minimal supervision.
  • Manage PLC-related operations to meet cost, quality, functionality, and time targets, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and requirements management.
  • Development, execution, and monitoring of schedules (including verification and validation schedules, execution, and monitoring): budget management: risk management: resource negotiation and management: plan, budget, budget, budget, budget, budget, budget, budget, budget, budget, budget, Monitor procurement: report on project status on a regular basis and present to the appropriate forum/governance.
  • Update the Technical Specification for the assigned activities in a secure manner.
  • Collect and analyze: Issues, technical issues, expansion tickets, claims, or performance issues on given product.
  • Determine and put in place the necessary remedial actions or Containment Solutions.
  • Manage all CI, CS, PET associated activities in QuTIP and CA related activities in JTT or C2 in accordance with suitable working routines/tools and Processes, for example.
  • Encourage the use of PSM in applicable situations: Assist teams in using problem-solving methodologies successfully as necessary.
  • Assist Market and Product Management with request analysis, as well as supply time and cost aspects.
  • Ascertain that the activity adheres to both legal and TP guidelines.
  • Participate in MDM-related PD/TD/PLC projects of medium/high complexity as a team member.

We believe you have the following characteristics:

  • Engineering diplomas in Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Fluid Energy Engineering are desired.
  • Professional expertise spanning more than 5 years.
  • To complete complex assignments, possesses and applies substantial knowledge of a particular field of competence.
  • Excellent command of the English language (speaking/writing) as well as the French language.
  • With a strong hands-on, get-things-done approach, proactive and pragmatic attitude.
